We first came to meet the good people of Compass Contractor Ltd. at the 2018 Winnipeg Home Renovation Show. We were looking for professionals to convert our 900 square foot 3 season cottage into a 5400 square foot home; while maintaining the original post and beam open concept salvaged from the original cottage. After we conversed with them and they came to look at our property; we decided to book them to build our dream home on a hill overlooking the Winnipeg River. They understood what we wanted in the building of our home and carried out the work meticulously. We are very happy with the work they have done thus far, especially after trying to 3 years with other contractors who were very unprofessional. They were flexible and adaptable to our changing desires as the home was being constructed. They are very knowledgeable in all parts of building dream homes.

Compass Contractors are great to work with! We hired them to do a complete office build at a new office space we recently leased. They were extremely helpful throughout the entire project, giving us great suggestions and expert advice not to mention the great workmanship. Albert & Serge were very well organized and planned out from start to finish. The project was delayed but we still opened on time!! Great company to work with... I would recommend them to anyone!

We first contacted Compass Contractors to build our horse barn. From the initial planning phase we were impressed with their customer service and attention to detail. They provided us with a reasonable quote in a timely manner. Compass researched every detail of our project from concrete finishing to window covers in order to provide a safe and long lasting horse barn. The project was completed on time and on budget! Therefore we did not hesitate to hire them again to finish our basement the following summer. Once again Compass surpassed our expectations. They provided unsurpassed quality construction from drywalling, taping and tiling to a built-in salt water fish tank! When planning to build our own home last year we had a lot of decisions to make. What kind of house we wanted, siding, windows, interior, there is a lot to think of when you are planning a house. The one thing we did not have to worry about was who to pick as our contractor. We had seen the work Compass contractor does and so it was an easy decision to go with them. There work ethics and knowledge of building and renovating are impressive. Serge and Albert bring with them a world of experience and modern day carpentry.
